Perhaps the most haunting scene from Gus Van Sant's "Last Days", Michael Pitt performs a solo acoustic song as Blake, a troubled young musician whose life is reminiscent of Kurt Cobain's. Pitt performs "Death to Birth", a song originally recorded by his band Pagoda whose debut album "House of Worship" is set to be released in June on Thuston Moore of Sonic Youth's Ecstatic Peace label.

Michael Pitt of Pagoda and The Twins of Evil collaborated on a cover of the Jimi Hendrix classic "Hey Joe" for the original motion picture soundtrack of "The Dreamers." A video was shot for it by Bernardo Bertolucci who also directed the film and included as a bonus feature on the DVD release.
