A psychedelic video for a shimmering instrumental by one of my favorite bands. Filmed near Borestone Mountain in Maine, October 2008.
A tribute to the stereo paintings of the brilliant Oskar Fischinger, a somewhat surreal and abstract experiment in stop-motion animation, collage, and the painting process. Painstakingly syncronized to a soundtrack from an uncredited LP "Music From The Silent Films".
Created for Painting With Water-Based Media in Spring 2006.
I took a Study Abroad class at GSU this may and captured about an hour or two of video, intending on putting together something cool and nice. This isn't it, but it's alright just the same! I simply took my favorite clips and edited them together more or less randomly, overlaying it with music from a CD I bought when I was over there called "Nubian Beats". Enjoy! I wish I could go back!
I have a little digital camera that only records 30 second clips but they look nice. So i strung together a bunch of videos from last night's show with no editing whatsoever...
Roy Orbison-scored primeval nostalgic soup; man's long and troubled relationship to fossil fuels. Made for a 3-D Design class at Georgia State University. No real dinosaurs have been burned in effigy in the making of this video.
I am learning the 3D graphics tool Blender and after going through a few tutorials put together this, my first ever animation. Nothing special, more of an excersize in technology.
In early 2006 I began experimenting with stop motion photographic videos and made this, and landscape portrait of my back yard made from hundreds of photos taken over a period of a day in February. They were all strung together and set to super-imposed recordings of the street outside my house.
